SP ENW - LV Visibility Load Duration Curves
Dataset using LV network monitoring from PRESense monitors and Smart Meters to generate a load-duration curve for each distribution substation. The load-duration curves provide the Cumulative Distribution Function (CDF) of the load based on half-hourly measurements over a 12-month period in terms of 10th, 25th, 50th, 75th and 90th percentiles.
Where data has been obtained from Smart Meters, the aggregated measurement for each half hour from Smart Meters has been scaled up based on the number of customers fed by that substation divided by the number of Smart Meters which provided data. As such, the load observed is likely be an overestimate as no diversity fact has been applied.
For those substations where the data is obtained from PreSENSE measurements, the load-duration curve is for apparent power (kVA), and for those substations where the data is obtained from Smart Meters, the load-duration curve is for real power (kW).
